What customers say?

“ We found this place at google and decided to give it a try. It was amazing!! Although most of our company (all Dutchies) does not speak any Spanish, the guests and the host were all very cooperative and tried their hardest to make sure we had a great time. The food, drinks (definitely try the sangria) and service were excellent and I would highly suggest it to anybody! ”

“ This is one of the most traditional spots in Santander. The owner does the cooking and comes to your table to take your order from the menu! It's important to know that he's been doing this for decades! The atmosphere is that of a very pleasant tavern, a popular and well-known place famous for its dishes. It's one of those places that you stumble upon and find a hidden gem! Go and try it; you'll love it! ”

- Rodrigo Gereda -

“ We arrived about an hour before closing time. I know it was a bit of a pain for them, but they were super nice. And the tapas were good. ”

- Daphne Vila -

“ Bar adjacent to the city center, very authentic, delicious fish. Superb grilled sea bream and anchovy fillets, and the octopus in vinaigrette is also delicious. An old-fashioned tavern, dinner starts at 9 pm. ”

- Claudia Domeniconi -

“ A superb lunch featuring seafood and fresh fish; everything was well-cooked and original. The Zamburinas and Bonito del Norte were excellent, as was the complimentary herbal liqueur. It was within expectations and generous, given the quantity of dishes served. ”

- Mattia A. -

“ We ate turbot like I haven't had for a long time, an authentic place, personal service... very... Curro Jiménez tavern style atmosphere turbat, padrón peppers, grilled prawns, cheese, water, wine, coffee... €86 and I'm so happy I didn't fall into one of these nice restaurants where the chefs hide their mistakes with nonsense "a turbot and nothing else" very good Paco ”

- Massimo Anastasio -

“ I have it below my house, the owner is very nice, it's great for a snack, he serves lots of tapas, I think it's been open for a few days, but I was sick and today I went down and saw it, so I took advantage and went in for a drink. It's nice to see the hospitality industry moving, and the neighborhood bars reopening, otherwise there's no life in the neighborhood. He's put in a terrace outside which is very nice. ”

“ Traditional cuisine, where there's any. The family atmosphere and cozy place with an old-fashioned touch. The meat is the best of all. But what can I say about the clams or shrimp? Definitely recommended. ”
